I have MS and after drinking a diet soda ALMOST IMMEDIATELY it makes me feel BAD. It's a neurological thing!
Now if this effects people with MS wouldn't you think it also affects healthy people? I know ASPARTAME is a very bad for me and I feel it's affects immediately. It really does. If I want a soda ( I try not, but occasionally I will drink one with SUGAR and it does NOT make me feel that way) although I know I shouldn't have much sugar for obvious health reasons and to keep weight off. I was trying to chew gum to keep from eating when I noticed this same weird sick feeling. Then I noticed the gum has ASPARTAME. So I thought I'd switch to sugar gum but I still felt the same. That's when I noticed ALL gum, even gum with sugar has ASPARTAME! Why oh Why do they include that? Just plain gum with sugar would not be unhealthy except for your teeth but why do they add the ASPARTAME? Sugar has been eaten for centuries and it's been fine- it's when they add all those other chemicals that has made us unhealthy.
