Top 10 Did You Knows? – June Week 2

top_10_weekly_didyouknows2Happy Friday!

In line with the nature of this post, an honourable mention must go to an article I read this week in the Readers Digest. It revolved around the idea of the “craziest names ever”. It became apparent that a little country located in the southern ocean known to many as Middle Earth (and to others as New Zealand) is home to some of the weirdest, most confusing names on this planet! As an example, recently a 9 year old native New Zealander appeared in court to change her name. Her new name wasn’t released, but her old name was “Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii” – The poor child!

It’s hard to beat Talula, but the following mix of food trivia and cunning quotes come close. I hope you enjoy this weeks edition, and if anyone has any other interesting trivia, quotes or even names that they would like to share, please feel free. Enjoy, and have a great weekend! Read more
