The goal of the FoodEssentials project is to influence a change on how people choose the food that they eat.

The FoodEssentials team is a fine balance of product knowledge, technological expertise and creativity.  We are headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and have personnel based in Australia, Europe, and Asia.  FoodEssentials is a truly international, modern and exciting young company leveraging best of breed technologies for both data, communications and management processes.  Everyone in the team is motivated by the potential for FoodEssentials to make a difference in how people choose foods.

Why are we qualified?

We have been building an ingredient database since 2004, meticulously collecting food label data, manually parsing the ingredients and investigating the properties of each individual ingredient.  Throughout we sought the expertise of health professionals and incorporated resources from the community.  We are not dietitians and offer no opinions – we are experts in food label data.
